What has happened to the Republican Party?  Are we really willing to sacrifice our values and be chewed up and spit out? 

Democrats used to be conservative at one time too...then they began to move to the middle...they began to cool off and now they support murder of the innocent unborn, same sex marriage, government control of every area of our lives, slander of our troops and our military, naive foreign policies, government programs that increase our poverty levels and dependance plus many more anti-American garbage.

Come on, Conservatives...it is time to turn up the heat...not calm down!

He said everything I wanted to hear today.  His passion and direction came shining through and I have not even been one of his supporters.  Would he have followed through?  



We'll not find out since Mitt Romney withdrew from the Republican Presidential race today. 

Did he pick a good time to leave?

He left the race at the height of his campaign, and if he uses his momentum to followup his statments with four years of conservatism to add to his record, we could very well see Romney in the future with even better numbers and more support for the Presidency.  




Now McCain is our frontrunner, unless Huckabee gains a huge momentum from Romney leaving.  Could it happen? 

Berkley, California wants the Marines out!  They claim that they do not belong in their city even accusing them of being "mass murderers."  Outrageous!

The city council has given the liberal, anti-American group Code Pink, a parking place at the recruiting office and a permit to protest on the grounds.  Even Mayor Tom Bates has endorsed Code Pink, denouncing the US Marines.

Rep. Jim Demint of South Carolina has proposed a bill that will stop this kind of harrassament of our armed forces.  The bill wants to remove federal funding to the city of Berkley.

Code Pink and the City of Berkley will claim that this is a violation of their freedom of speech...

HOWEVER, freedom of speech is exactly what these radical, anti-war protestors are trying to rip from our armed forces who protect and give them the freedom to blast out their bigotry.

America, it is time to get out the crash carts and revive true patriotism and support for our military and nation.  Let others talk all they want but when cities begin pushing out our military, it is time to push back!

So where did Hilary go? 

Bill seems to be hogging the media as he takes his cheap shots at Obama and African Americans.  All the media is focused on him and his blow-ups changing American's focus from all the questions they asked about Hilary to himself.  



Job well done, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton.  Take the focus off of your campaign negatives and place it on the one not running for President.  Hilary has Bill doing her dirty work while she continues her "positive" campaign. 

Wake up, America!  Are we not sick of the Clinton's yet? 

Dirty politics, underhanded schemes and temper tantrums are what we will receive if Hilary becomes President.

McCain's victory tonight tasted sweet to his supporters and this is definantly an upswing for his campaign.  Most seem to think he is the candidate to beat the democratic nominee and if he wins the Republican ticket, will he become a true Conservative? 


Huck followed right on McCain's heels but ended up with about 14,000 votes short.  He still ran a strong campaign and I still think he is a honorable man. 


Thompson, the one I had hoped would stand out in front tonight, fell to third place.  I am still sniffling over that one since SC needed to be a strong win for him.  


Romney, on the other side of the country, won the Nevada caucus.  Will he be at the front of the pack on Feb. 5th?

Now the question is who to support?

Hilary Clinton calls President Bush "pathetic" because he is over in Saudi Arabia trying to work out a deal to lower our gas cost. 

I am trying to figure out how going to Saudi Arabia trying to work out a deal to lower gas prices, something good for our country, for our economy can be considered "pathetic." 

What are you doing, Hilary?  Oh that's right...name calling, crying and talking out both sides of your mouth. 

Thank goodness, we have a President that actually works for the money that he earns instead of some who use our money to chase interns around the Oval Office.

Now, we all know President Bush is not begging for the Saudi's help as you claim...he is from Texas!  Texan's don't beg...they kick butt or shoot ya! 

Stop the lies, Hilary.  They don't work for you anymore...in fact...it's "pathetic!"  

You know, Hilary my have been sincere in showing her emotions.  Maybe she wanted her supporters to see her passion for this country...

HOWEVER...

Being passionate does not make her beliefs, her issues, her ideas good for our country.

The Islamic terrorists are passionate about blowing themselves up for their religion.

Illegal immigrants are passionate about coming to America.

Bill was passionate about Monica...

Yet, NONE of these are good for our country.  Neither is Hilary.  

Fred stayed in the grave longer than Lazarus but tonight he finally came to life.  



He backed up his answers with facts and record instead of "politicalese."  His down to earth, straight forward answers were refreshing and on point.  He made his answers clear and his true conservatism shined through.

He was strong on immigration, foreign policy, national security, tax reform and limiting big governement.  His pro-life record speaks for itself and he supports tradtional marriage. 

The best part...He backs up his words with a past record that reflects solidarity into the future.

The loser...Ron Paul...just too naive about the security of our nation.

Professors plan to apologize to Iran's President Ahmadinejad not by email, not by letter, not even with a phone call, but face to face.

     

They have planned a trip to Iran to grovel at the feet of the President in apology for the comments made by Bollinger, Columbia's president during the Iranian's visit this past September.

Wow...aren't they so sweet...wanting to apologize...I'm sure that will change the heart of Ahmadinejad.  Maybe he will even give up making nuclear weapons to blow us off the face of the earth because these nice men tuck their tail and say "I'm sorry."

The HPV vaccine, Gardasil, may be causing more harm than good.  One lady on my email loop said her daughter received the second shot and passed out.  The next day she said her neck was very sore.

What is the HPV vaccine and how does it work?

The vaccine, called Gardasil, mimics the disease and creates resistance. It is NOT a live or a dead virus. It prevents infection with HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18.

Who should get the HPV vaccine?

The FDA has approved Gardasil for girls and women ages 9-26. It is best to get the shot before the start of sexual activity.

How many shots do you need?

There are three shots. Once you get the first shot, you need a second shot two months later.  You need to get a third shot six months after you get the first shot.

How long are you protected?

Since the vaccine is new, more studies need to be done. For example, the FDA does not know if you will need to have a booster after a couple of years.

Here are some statistics I received through my email...I have not checked all of these out so read at your own risk...

--In June of 2006 the FDA approved Gardasil to be used on females age
9 through 26.
--The vaccine trial for Gardasil was a 14 day trial on women
averaging 23 years of age (there were no girls under 12 in the study,
yet it is being recommended by the FDA for 9 year olds!). The 14 day
trial showed protection against 4 types of HPV (Two of these types of
HPV cause over 70% of the cervical cancers, but there are over 100
different types of HPV.) Gardasil was tested alone. It was not
given with any other vaccinations (yet we often give vaccinations in
groups, ex: MMR and DTaP)
--As of May, 2007 (one year after approval by the FDA) there have
been 2227 adverse reactions reported to the CDC (and only ~10% of all
adverse reactions are ever reported). The reactions included 13
cases of GBS (Group Beta Strep.), 239 cases of fainting with
temporary loss of consciousness (some also with head injuries and
fractures), and seven deaths reported after receiving Gardasil.
There have also been respiratory and cardiac problems, neuromuscular
and coordination problems, and convulsions.
--The vaccine does not contain mercury. As a substitute
preservative, it has 225 mcg Aluminum. (so if girls get all three
shots, they will be getting 675 mcg aluminum)
--The 3 series of shots cost $360 wholesale. So if states made it
mandatory to get this vaccine, Merck (the only producer of Gardasil)
stands to make $3 billion dollars a year!)
--There is no long term testing on this vaccination. We have no idea
long term effect on women, fetuses, health... and how long it will
remain effective.

Just  couple of thoughts...

1.  If the vaccine is this new and more studies need to be done...do we really want our daughters to be the guinea pigs for yet another vaccine from which we do not know the long term effects? 

2. 9 year olds...enough said.

For one split moment, a morsal of pity began to grow...


...but then I burst into laughter!  Cry me a river, Hiliary...do you really think a few tears is going to help get more votes?  Perhaps it will.  After all, some will think it shows your sincerity and passion for America, instead of what it really shows...manipulation, weakness and good acting skills.

Do we really want a president, in the White House, who gets emotional on the campaign trail? 

After all, running a country, supporting world peace, fighting terrorist who want to wipe us off the face of the earth will not be handed to us by a sugar daddy who crumbles when his spoiled daughter drops a few from the 'ole blue eyes. 

Of course, Hilary wanted to seem personal, softer, human and some will fall for her "bathroom mirror acting debut." 

If you want to see me cry a river, then elect Hilary as President!  I am sure I won't be the only one bawling my eyes out!

Last night's victories prove that the majority of people in Iowa and, I believe America, depend not on the amount of money in a person's wallet but how they relate to what we believe.  

         
Obama and Huckabee showed that having less in their wallet might be a good thing!  Obama knocked out the Clinton machine while Huckabee wrecked the plans of Mitt Romney's wealthy organization. 

I guess the winners communicated better the goals of the Iowan people and it is more than the Almighty dollar! 

 
Thongs.  Flip Flops. GOP Candidates...all smacking the bottoms of the feet wearing them.  
Can't they stick to their positions?  If just one candidate would stick like chewing gum on the bottom of my shoe...

 ...instead of flopping all over the place like a fish out of Republican water, they would get my vote. 

 Huckabee, I liked, until I investigated more about his immigration stance...soft as melted ice cream in July.

 Romney, definantely looks the part, but I am still trying to figure out how the govenor of the most liberal state in the country can call himself a conservative.  Especially, when a few years ago he claimed to be pro-life and with gay marriage legalized there.  Chameleon.

 So I turn to McCain, thinking maybe the fighter POW, veteran of the Vietnam war would be the tough, firm candidate I seek...yet he is as easy on immigration and raising taxes as mama's homemade apple pie sliding down my throat.  What's left for the people...a big hole.

 Then there is Fred Thompson...I loved the hard stance he took against the school marm moderator.  We need to see more of that but I keep asking myself, does he even want to be President? 

 Giuliani?  Are you sure you are a Republican? Perhaps a wolf dressed in...women's clothing.

So now I find my feet performing the thong dance and getting cold in all of this political snow. 
 

The only thing that warms my heart, besides my fluffy bunny slippers, is the fact that the least of these guys is better than the choices the Liberals have.  So come on men, take off the opened toe shoes and put on those combat boots.  Find your positions and defend them with everything you got!  Stop the politically correct nonsense and take a firm stand then shout it from the rooftops so we can find our man and shout with you!

America admired the former Prime Minister Bhutto for her courage, bravery and committment to the Pakistani people.  She believed in democracy, freedom and the people. 

On Thursday, December 27, 2007 after a political rally, Bhutto was assassignated by extreme terrorists who oppposed her, the same terrorists that took credit for the bombings of the World Trade Towers in New York City, the same extreme terrorists that have claimed the destruction in London and Spain.  The same terrorists that America and their Allies are fighting in Iraq. 

For those who believe extreme terrorists will not cause destruction on America's soil are naive.  If the terrorists can, they will assassinate the United States the first chance they get. 

Ms. Bhutto took a stand against them, even though she knew her life and the lives of others were endangered. 

I only hope that in the future, our leaders, our people and our country will be so brave!

Yet, you choose a man who has killed over 200 journalists since coming into power, has squashed freedom of press and has plans to remain in power through the back doors of the Kremlin. 

And you wonder why your sales, according to the New York Times article have dropped 24% in 2006 more than any other magazine...
